"Skyline" Solar Hot Water Systems Summary

We have made it drammatically easier to choose the right system! On this page you will find plenty of information regarding our most popular "Skyline5" system designed for areas with climates that freeze, or the "Skyline3" system designed for areas with climates that have very little to NO freeze at all. These systems are designed to last for 20-30 years, so if your climate history includes any freezing conditions within the past 20 years, we recommend getting the "Skyline5" system.

All "Skyline" systems are Powerful, Durable, & Attractive Systems that are much easier to install than conventional solar thermal systems and are available in different package levels to give you flexibility for a variety of different needs. These systems were designed by a solar water heating installer to have these important features that are not typically found on other systems.

You can expect typical installation of your "Skyline" system will go much smoother because of the completeness of the kit and the light weight of the high performance collectors; Not just different but a truly better value.

Understanding SRCC/FSEC System Ratings
SRCC stands for Solar Rating Certification Corporation, this entity rates collectors and systems based on a performance scale for solar thermal much like the UL does for electrical. Throughout this web site we mention OG-100 which is a COLLECTOR rating & OG-300 which is a SYSTEM rating. Most states/utilities require the OG-300 rating to qualify residential applications for a rebate/incentive. The 30% Federal Tax Credit ONLY requires the OG-100 collector rating in order to qualify. FSEC ratings are specific to our "Skyline3" systems under the "No Freeze" climate zone.
