Closed Loop 110 Volt, Hard Freeze Climate

(With SRCC OG-100 Collectors - Qualifies for Federal Tax Credit)

Value System 4 has a 110 Volt circulator controlled by a Differential Controller with 2 sensors and duel Digital Temperature readouts. It is for use in areas with Hard Freeze. This closed loop system circulates a special Non-Toxic Propylene Glycol Antifreeze solution through the collectors and then thru a Heat Exchanger either in or attached to a storage tank. 

System 4 is available in several configurations to meet special needs.  In addition to the standard system which is set up to use a heat exchange tank like the Rheem / Rudd HE, special configurations using a "Power Rod" external heat exchanger are available.  A Special PV powered version of the "Power Rod" is also available. The "Power Rod" is easily connected to a standard water heater.

System 4 is a closed loop system with traditional 110 Volt pump and differential control like offered on many other sites.  The big difference is that it is much easier to install and far more complete than systems offered on other sites. Our "Power Rod" External Heat Exchanger (PR) is a double wall Tube and Shell.

Freeze Climate System 4 Parts List:

• 10 or 20 sq. ft solar thermal collector(s), 20” wide x 6’ or 12’ long

• Rail flush mounting kit

• 110 Volt Pump, with line cord

• Differential Controller with 2 sensors and line cord

Kit includes a very efficient double wall* Tube in Shell Type External Heat Exchanger with 2, 12 Volt PV Circulators and 2 PV Panels, Quick Connect Kit for installation to any standard tank. FREE!
